Died of Illness as a prisoner, on Thursday, 27th May 1943

Born in Freckenham on 29th January 1912 (Mildenhall Q1-1912 4A:1844) son of Alfred and Mary Elizabeth WISEMAN (née PAMMENT) of Freckenham. There were four elder sisters, but one had died. In 1911 his parents were living at Fordham Road, Freckenham with his sister Maud Mary [11]. His father [47] was a Freckenham born farm labourer and mother [40] was born in Isleham

In 1939 the family were at 4 Church Square, Freckenham - father [2-8-1868] a farm labourer; mother [6-1-1870] brother Harold G [3-5-1914] gravel digger and Margaret WISEMAN [17-4-1895]. Archibald was a farm labourer.


Archibald died of cholera at Takanun Camp, Thailand, having been captured by the Japanese Army on the fall of Singapore in February 1942.
